About
A personal software collection with a technical identity.
Nexus Applications is where Jeffery W. Miller publishes the desktop tools he builds and uses: focused, local-first, and documented honestly.
What this is
Nexus Applications is not a company or a platform. It is one developer's set of Windows applications, each solving a specific problem: keeping related terminals together (CLITiles), keeping notes and scripts together with an optional AI harness (InfiniteNotes), and playing local media, podcasts, audiobooks, and radio without getting in the way (Tuner). TraceMesh—an orchestrated AI workbench with agentic workflows and a persistent-memory trainer—is in development and described on its page as direction only.
The applications are independent programs. Where two of them work together (the CLITiles and InfiniteNotes bridge) that integration is opt-in, local, and described on both product pages. Nothing on this site claims a feature that the current release does not have.
How releases work here
Each release listed on this site is built from a tagged commit in the application's repository, hashed, and recorded in a versioned release manifest. The downloads page shows the exact filename, size and SHA-256 of the file you receive. Installers are not yet code-signed; the checksum is the integrity mechanism, which is why it is shown everywhere a download is offered.
Downloading requires a free account with a verified email. That lets a withdrawn build or a security notice be handled responsibly. The account is used for nothing else: no newsletter, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics.
Open source
Tuner is published under the MIT License with its full source on GitHub. CLITiles and InfiniteNotes are also MIT-licensed; their repositories are private for now, and their license files ship with each application. TraceMesh has no public release.
Who
Jeffery W. Miller designs, builds and maintains the applications and this website. The Nexus mark — a bold N with an ignition ember at the base of the left stem — was created for this site and is described in the brand guide in the website repository.
