CLITiles

    A quality-of-life and platform-support release.

    InfiniteNotes panel

    • Refresh button on the connection-status bar re-fetches the document list in place without losing scroll position, focus, or unsaved edits.
    • Predictable column-major tile layout (3 x 5), Reload confirmation, and a dedicated notes font setting.

    Terminals

    • Empty workspaces are supported; closing the last tile no longer force-spawns a replacement.
    • PowerShell 7 profile, auto-detected via pwsh on PATH or %ProgramFiles%\PowerShell\7.
    • Line-based scrollback: 10,000 lines per tile with optional append-only session history (capped, pruned at startup).

    Languages and themes

    • Lua gets first-class highlighting in the notes panel.
    • Seventeen new bundled themes join the original eight for twenty-five total, each driving app chrome, terminal ANSI colors, scrollbars, and the notes editor.

    Onboarding and settings

    • Skippable first-launch tutorial; full system font enumeration in the font pickers; theme dropdown restyling fix; header badge now reads "Online".

    Known limitations

    • Windows only; Linux and macOS builds are used for development and CI tests but are not packaged.

    • Terminal output is not restored when a workspace is reopened.
    • Git Bash and WSL profiles require Git for Windows or a WSL distribution to be installed separately.

InfiniteNotes

    Fix release on top of 0.6.0-beta.1 (AI harness and durable jobs unchanged).

    AI harness (from 0.6.0-beta.1, still current):

    • Opt-in Smart Chat with Ask, Agent, and Agent (auto) modes—models work inside your notes and project files under Apply / budget rules, not as a hand-off to another IDE.
    • Bring-your-own-key providers (Cursor, Fireworks, Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, Mistral) with classified model menus for speed and task fit.
    • Workflow presets and workspace tools (tabs, project tree, granted folders, git/shell, URL fetch, GitHub helpers, CLITiles send).
    • Durable local jobs: paged inventory, hashed coverage, pause/resume checkpoints, call/token/time budgets, and completion only after verified file delivery.
    • Predictive text and local OCR remain off by default.

    Fixed in 0.6.0-beta.2:

    • "Turn sync off" now survives an app relaunch (restored sessions no longer silently re-enable Supabase sync).
    • Opening a conversation pulls the remote copy first when sync is on; changes from another device refresh the open conversation.

    Also includes a documentation and chat-provider test-coverage pass (no additional behavior change). No Supabase schema migration required.

    Interim local durable-job release.

    • Large project analysis uses paged file inventory, hashed coverage, bounded context segments and verified file delivery.
    • Jobs retain cumulative call/token/time budgets, can pause and resume from a checkpoint, and accept objective updates at safe operation boundaries. Verified completion stops the tool loop immediately.
    • Missing registered conversation files enter recovery instead of becoming empty conversations.
    • Process tools retain full local output with bounded slice retrieval; supported ambiguous file writes reconcile without replaying the write.
    • File delivery checks hashes and preserves existing UTF-8 encoding and line-ending metadata. Clipboard paste checks note identity after asynchronous reads.
    • Mistral added as a chat provider; Jeff Runtime protocol/client SDK 0.3.0 adds separately negotiated execution capabilities (runtime execution remains gated).
    • No Supabase schema migration is required for existing sync users.

    First public release of Tuner.

    • Live Radio - stations from the Radio Browser directory (local and US-national selections) with curated stream fallbacks.
    • Spotify connection - guest browsing of curated playlists and embeds; optional PKCE sign-in with your own Spotify Client ID for personal playlists. The OAuth loopback listener runs off the UI thread so the window stays responsive while you approve access in the browser.
    • Focus mode - compact always-on-top window, plus layout polish and window-scaling fixes.
    • Branding - new application icon and NSIS installer header/sidebar imagery.
    • 31 bundled themes driven by the JSON theme engine.
