Website terms

Short and specific: these terms cover the website and download accounts. The applications you download are licensed under their own terms, linked below.

The website

nexus-applications.com is operated by Jeffery W. Miller ("the operator") to describe and distribute the Nexus Applications software. You may browse the public pages freely. Product descriptions are written from the current release and are kept accurate in good faith, but the software itself, not this website, defines what a release does.

Accounts

  • An account requires a working email address that you control. You must verify it before downloads are available.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account until you change the password or sign out everywhere.
  • One person per account. Do not share accounts or automate downloads.
  • The operator may suspend website download access for abuse (for example, scripted mass downloads or attempts to bypass authorization) and may delete accounts that never complete verification.
  • You can delete your account at any time from the account page.

Downloads

  • Files are offered exactly as described on the downloads page, including their SHA-256 checksum and signing status. Verify the checksum before running any installer.
  • Installers are currently not code-signed. Operating-system warnings are expected; the checksum, not the absence of a warning, tells you the file is the one published here.
  • A release may be withdrawn if a problem is found. Withdrawal stops new downloads; it cannot recall files already delivered. Security notices, if needed, are sent to the account email.
  • Do not attempt to access storage locations, artifact identifiers or releases that are not offered to you.

Application licenses

Each application is licensed separately. Installing or using an application means accepting its license, not these website terms.

  • CLITiles: MIT License (jeffmillerspec (Jeffery W. Miller)). The license file ships inside the application.
  • InfiniteNotes: MIT License (jeffmillerspec (Jeffery W. Miller)). The license file ships inside the application.
  • Tuner: MIT License (Jeffery W. Miller)
  • TraceMesh: MIT License (Jeffery W. Miller). The license file ships inside the application. Not yet available for download.

No warranty

The website and the software are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. The MIT License that governs the applications contains the same disclaimer. The operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the website or the software beyond what applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Third-party services

Features inside the applications that talk to third parties (AI providers you configure in InfiniteNotes, Spotify or radio directories in Tuner, repository hosts) are governed by those providers' terms and any charges are between you and them. The website does not resell or proxy those services.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the website changes. The "last updated" date and the website repository record the history. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
