Common download issues

"Windows protected your PC"

The installers are not code-signed. Compare the SHA-256 on the downloads page with Get-FileHash; if it matches, choose More info, then Run anyway.

The hash does not match

Do not run the file. Delete it, download again from this site, and compare once more. If it still differs, report it with the "Download or checksum problem" topic.

I never got the verification email

Check spam for a message from Nexus Applications (accounts@mail.nexus-applications.com). You can request another once per minute. Plus-addressed and custom-domain addresses are supported.

The link in the email says it was already used

Links work once. If you already clicked it, simply sign in. If a mail scanner consumed it, request a fresh link from the verification page.

My download stopped part-way

Downloads support resuming. Use your browser's Resume action, or start the download again while signed in. Partial files will fail the SHA-256 check, so always verify.
